Why is it that appreciating things like beauty and purity, which were appreciated in the past, is considered strange and foreign and corny like even this statement probably sounds?

I realized how advanced the "Advanced Placement English" was when I realized we were learning about such sophisticated topics as Tropes, SOAPSS, DIDLS, and the Okefenokee Swamp, and the occasional werb.

It's not truly being rebellious to society if it's considered cool.
Friendships are better at fulfilling your life than possessions though both are good.
No doubt that in the two days I've had this blog so far I've probably made some incorrect conclusions or some grammatical errors.
My favorite thing on Earth is probably entertainment that is entertaining through creativity instead of grossing us out.
I used to debate about whether to get the 360 or not until I realized it was $400.

People daily try to turn speculation into "facts" simply through repetition.
I would rather sit on a cold, uncomfortable floor with friends than sit in a warm, comfortable chair by myself.
The most common challenge for a human being is being truly himself despite society's predetermined notions of what their pattern of behavior will be despite previous interactions.
The people who say the loudest that they don't care what anyone thinks are saying this because they want other people think this about them.
The human condition is a dark cloud that we all end up under at one point, and anyone remaining under this cloud will sooner shut down anyone who tries to escape it than encourage them.
It's not so much the decadence in the media that is disturbing, but the general public's acceptance, embracing, and its intense devotion to remove all that would stand in the way of it.
